Who is Blaser Swisslube?

For over eight decades, Blaser Swisslube has stood for the highest quality and reliability, as well as for products that protect people and the environment. Our company is based on family values, Swiss expertise and permanent progress.

Why choose products from Blaser Swisslube?

Blaser Swisslube products are safe for people and the environment. Even when developing new lubricants, we avoid questionable or controversial ingredients. If problems arise when using a lubricant, we often provide our customers with competent support even when the lubricant is no longer the focus. We want to be perceived as problem solvers. This is part of our “Services in the Drum” and does not entail any additional costs for the customer.

Are Blaser products expensive?

Our price per drum may be higher than the price you are paying for your current solution. However, if you encounter any problems, you can rest assured of our support until we have found a solution that works for both parties. This is often the case when the lubricant is even no longer the focus of concerns. We are convinced that our high-quality products, diverse services and personal on-site support can make your work more economical, easier and safer.

Where are Blaser products manufactured?

Blaser Swisslube lubricants are proudly manufactured in Hasle-Rüegsau, Switzerland.

Is Blaser Swisslube the only lubricant manufacturer in Switzerland?

Blaser Swisslube is the only company in Switzerland that still has its own lubricant production lines. At our Hasle-Rüegsau location, we produce standard lubricants as well as food-grade lubricants (NSF H1/3H).

What is the shelf life of Blaser products?

The minimum shelf life of our products is indicated in the corresponding material Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Section 7.2 “Conditions for safe storage taking incompatibilities into consideration”. This is 36 months for most products.
However, our lubricants can often be used long after this period has elapsed. Please contact our Customer Service if you have additional questions regarding shelf life.

How can I order products from Blaser?

At Blaser Swisslube you can order the required goods directly through the sales office (+41 34 460 04 60 / bestellbuero (@) blaser.com) or through your assigned sales representative.

What if I want to receive invoices by email in the future?
Send us your request here.
What is the transport cost for a drum and does Blaser handle the delivery directly?

Blaser Swisslube has its own dedicated fleet of trucks for delivering products to customers. Transport is free of charge for deliveries over 150 kg.

Does Blaser also supply food-grade lubricants (Kosher, Halal, NSF)?

Blaser Swisslube is the market leader for food-grade lubricants in Switzerland. We remain the only company with our own lubricant production facilities for standard lubricants as well as food-grade lubricants. All of our NSF-certified lubricants are also Kosher- and Halal-compliant.

Can I also have oil analyses carried out for me at Blaser Swisslube? What are the benefits to me?

Blaser Swisslube operates one of the most modern lubricant analysis laboratories in Switzerland. Regular oil analyses allow you to assess not only the condition of your lubricant, but also the condition of your system.

Does Blaser Swisslube also provide oil disposal services?

As a general rule, we do not accept the return of used oils. Depending on your agreement with us, you can have your used oil collected by a disposal company either at Blaser Swisslube terms or even at our expense.

What added value does a lubrication schedule offer me?

Having a lubrication schedule means that I only need to keep a precise selection of products in my lubricant inventory that I actually need. This saves me storage costs and has also massively reduced my product portfolio. I also have the certainty of knowing at all times what product has to be used at what interval and in what quantity.

What are the benefits of automatic lubricant dispensers?

The advantage of automatic, continuous lubrication is that lubrication points are never under- or over-lubricated. In addition, you only need to install the dispenser once a year and you no longer have to remember to manually lubricate your machinery every week or month.

Are lube oils and lubricants fully miscible with one another?

Absolutely not! There are certain base oils and thickeners (greases) that are not compatible with each other! Mixing them could lead to wear or even the complete failure of a component. In such cases, please contact our customer service or your assigned service representative to be on the safe side.

Can I use the same engine oil for all engines?

Generally, no! The number of oils required can often be reduced by analyzing all the vehicles a customer wants to fill and selecting a high-quality engine oil accordingly. In such cases, please contact our Customer Service or your assigned service representative to be on the safe side.

We are interested in getting training in the use of lubricants. Does Blaser Swisslube offer training courses?

Blaser Swisslube has gained a great deal of expertise and experience in the field of lubricants over the past decades, which we are happy to share with our customers. That is why we offer practical training courses tailored to the appropriate level. Training sessions can be held at our premises in Hasle-Rüegsau or directly on-site at your location. If you are interested, please contact our Customer Service or your assigned service representative.
